Gundam enthusiasts rejoice! An official GUNDAM TCG is on the horizon. A promotional video posted on September 27th to the official GUNDAM TCG X (formerly Twitter) account announced the "#GUNDAM" global TCG project. This launch coincides with the Mobile Suit Gundam 45th anniversary celebrations. Whether the game will be solely physical or include online components remains unclear.
Complete details will be revealed on October 3rd at 7 PM JST during Bandai's CARD GAMES Next Plan Announcement livestream on the official Bandai YouTube channel. The event will feature popular actors Kanata Hongo and Kotoko Sasaki, and former TV Tokyo announcer Shohei Taguchi. Hongo, a known GUNPLA enthusiast, participated in the GUNPLA 40th Anniversary Project in 2020, demonstrating his passion for both GUNPLA and the Gundam franchise.
