Google Play Store may soon introduce a handy new feature to help you avoid forgetting about newly downloaded apps: automatic app launching. This potential feature, discovered through an APK teardown, would automatically open an app immediately after its download completes.
The Details
According to Android Authority, the feature, tentatively titled "App Auto Open," would be entirely optional. Users could enable or disable it as needed. Upon a successful download, a notification banner would appear for approximately five seconds, possibly accompanied by a sound or vibration, ensuring you won't miss it.
Important Note: This information is based on an APK teardown and is not yet officially confirmed by Google. There is no official release date. We will update you as soon as more information becomes available.
This feature could eliminate the extra steps of locating and opening a newly downloaded app. While not yet a reality, it's a promising development for Android users. Check back for updates!
