Fortnite's cosmetic item rotation keeps players engaged, but also creates anticipation – sometimes agonizingly long waits. The return of popular skins like Master Chief (after two years) and the original Renegade Raider and Aerial Assault Trooper proves this. However, the future of Arcane skins, Jinx and Vi, remains uncertain.
Following the second season's release, the demand for Jinx and Vi skins exploded. Unfortunately, Riot Games co-founder Marc Merrill's recent stream cast doubt on their return. While acknowledging the decision rests with Riot, he indicated the collaboration was limited to the first season. Although he expressed willingness to discuss it internally, he offered no guarantees.
The likelihood of these skins returning seems slim. While the potential revenue would benefit Riot, the risk of players migrating from League of Legends to Fortnite due to the skins is a significant concern, particularly given League of Legends' current challenges.
While future circumstances might change, it's advisable to temper expectations for now.
