Fortnite Leaker Reveals Another Upcoming Anime Crossover

Fortnite Rumored to Crossover with Popular Anime Kaiju No. 8

Recent leaks suggest a potential crossover between the immensely popular battle royale game, Fortnite, and the hit anime series, Kaiju No. 8. Given Kaiju No. 8's current global popularity, such a collaboration would be a logical and exciting move for Epic Games. Adding to the speculation, rumors also point towards a possible Demon Slayer crossover in the near future.

The buzz follows Fortnite's recent Winterfest event conclusion and the release of its first major 2025 update. This update introduced new cosmetics, gameplay adjustments (including the use of Fortnite Festival instruments as back blings and pickaxes), and a local co-op mode for Fortnite Festival. These additions have fueled further speculation regarding upcoming content.

Prominent Fortnite leaker, HYPEX, ignited the Kaiju No. 8 crossover rumors via a Twitter post. Kaiju No. 8, which transitioned from manga to anime in 2024 (with a second season slated for 2025), tells the story of Kafka Hibino, a young man who gains kaiju-transforming abilities after an unusual encounter. A crossover would place Kaiju No. 8 alongside other popular anime franchises already featured in Fortnite, such as Dragon Ball Z.

Beyond Kaiju No. 8, multiple sources suggest a Demon Slayer crossover is also in the works. While details remain scarce, many fans anticipate new cosmetics in the Item Shop, and some even hope for map representation of characters from both anime.

Further fueling the excitement, leaks indicate the potential arrival of additional MonsterVerse characters, including King Kong and Mechagodzilla, to join Godzilla (available via the Chapter 6 Season 1 battle pass starting January 17th). With a plethora of new content on the horizon, the Fortnite community eagerly awaits Epic Games' next announcements for the remainder of 2025.
