Final Fantasy XIV's Free Login Campaign Returns!
Square Enix has re-launched its popular Free Login Campaign for Final Fantasy XIV, giving players with inactive accounts a chance to return to Eorzea for a limited time. This campaign runs until February 6th, 2025, and is available across PC, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms.
Eligible players can enjoy four consecutive days of free gameplay, with the 96-hour timer beginning upon login via the game launcher. Eligibility requires a previously purchased and registered Final Fantasy XIV account that has been inactive for at least 30 days prior to the campaign start date (January 9th, 2025). Accounts suspended or canceled due to Terms of Service violations are excluded. Players can verify their eligibility on the Mog Station.
This generous offer arrives hot on the heels of Patch 7.15, which introduced new side quests, including the return of the Hildibrand adventures and a fresh Custom Delivery client. Producer and director Naoki Yoshida's recent New Year's message confirmed the upcoming release of Patches 7.2 and 7.3 in 2025, alongside smaller updates, leaving fans speculating about the future direction of the Dawntrail storyline.
The Free Login Campaign provides a perfect opportunity for lapsed players to catch up on the Dawntrail expansion's content before the arrival of Patch 7.2. While waiting, players can also participate in the Heavensturn event (until January 16th) and anticipate the conclusion of the Dawntrail Role Quest series in Patch 7.16 (releasing January 21st). The campaign concludes on February 6th, 2025, at 9:59 AM Eastern Time.
