Mastering Effort Value (EV) Training for Attack in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet
Whether aiming for five- and six-star Tera Raid victories or conquering the ranked ladder in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet, optimizing your Pokémon's stats is paramount. Best Places to Farm Attack EVs
Pokémon Center Area – North Province (Area Two)

A community favorite, this northeastern area (near Team Star's Fighting Crew base) boasts numerous Pokémon yielding solely Attack EVs: Lokix, Scyther, Bisharp, Heracross, Dratini, and Ursaring. Note that some, like Falinks, offer mixed EV gains. Maximize damage output requires consistent, frequent battles.
Eastern Edge of Porto Marinada

For precise EV control, the eastern outskirts of Porto Marinada shine. Paldean Tauros groups yield 2 EVs each; with a Power Bracer, this jumps to 10, enabling rapid accumulation and precise EV adjustment by removing the item afterward.
Utilizing the Power Bracer for EV Training
Before embarking on your EV training journey, equip the Power Bracer. This accessory, available for 10,000 Pokédollars at Delibird Presents (Mesagoza, Levincia, and Cascarrafa), grants an additional +8 Attack EVs per defeated Pokémon.

Optimal Pokémon for Attack EV Training:

Mass outbreaks significantly boost EV gains. However, relying solely on outbreaks is unreliable. These two Pokémon offer consistent results:
Flamigo

Common near lakes and swamps, Flamigo appear at various levels, making them accessible even at lower trainer levels. Southeastern South Province lakes (near Grasswither Shrine) and Casseroya Watchtower No. 1 (south of Casseroya Lake) offer good hunting grounds, especially during "Encounter Power: Fighting" bonuses. Be mindful of higher-level Flamigo (around level 50) at Casseroya Watchtower. Avoid level 9-20 Pokémon with the "Detect" ability.
Paldean Tauros

Found in central-western and central-eastern regions, Paldean Tauros usually appear in groups of five. Hunting south of Levincia is recommended. Some possess the "Intimidate" ability, slightly slowing battles. Avoid Kantonian Tauros, as they only yield 1 Attack EV.
EV Attack Training Recommendations

Both Flamigo and Paldean Tauros are excellent choices, yielding 2 base Attack EVs (10 with the Power Bracer), requiring only 26 battles to reach the 252 EV cap.
The "Tropical Sandwich" (Every Wich Way) activates the "Encounter Power: Fighting Lv. 1" bonus, increasing Fighting-type Pokémon encounters.

Kelpsy Berries reduce EVs by 10, allowing for precise EV adjustments if you overshoot your target.

Efficient EV training demands patience and planning. Prioritize locations like North Province Area Two for rapid EV gains, utilize the Power Bracer, and target Flamigo or Paldean Tauros, especially during mass outbreaks. Avoid auto-battles and Pokémon with hindering abilities for optimal efficiency.
