Etheria: Restart has just announced via Twitter (X) on April 21 that they'll be hosting a global livestream ahead of their final beta test. Etheria Restart is an immersive free-to-play hero RPG set in a futuristic, sci-fi universe. The game's storyline revolves around humanity's struggle against a catastrophic global freeze, leading them to upload their minds into Etheria, a digital sanctuary shared with beings called the Animus. However, a new threat, the Genesis Virus, corrupts these Animus, turning them hostile.
As a member of the Hyperlinker Union, players step into the role of a Hyperlinker tasked with battling this viral threat, uncovering its origins, and protecting both the virtual and remaining physical world.
Powered by Unreal Engine, Etheria: Restart boasts stunning graphics and cinematic scenes. The gameplay features strategic turn-based combat with real-time tactical control, alongside a competitive PvP arena for thrilling real-time battles. Players can also engage with the game's gacha system, using Hydra Crystals—obtainable in-game or with real money—to summon new characters.
Final Beta Test Starts May 8, 2025
The final beta test kicks off on May 8, 2025, showcasing exciting features like Anisync Echoes and Phantom Theater trial challenges, as well as real-time PvP (RTA) battles inspired by fan-favorites like Summoners War and Epic Seven.
During this beta, cross-play functionality will be available, allowing players on mobile and PC to compete in real-time arenas, assemble the best squad for intense boss fights, and unlock new companions called "Shells."
