- Hit indie MMORPG Eterspire is introducing its first new class: the Archer
- Fire arrow volleys at enemies, pierce through armor with precision shots, and vanish using smoke bombs
- A range of significant updates and additions are now available for free-to-play users
With MapleStory: Idle RPG recently opening pre-registration, some dedicated MMORPG fans might feel overlooked. However, if you were hoping for more traditional action, rest easy because Eterspire is rolling out major updates, headlined by the debut of its first new character class!
Following the recent addition of dedicated ranged foes, Eterspire welcomes the Archer as its newest playable role. Beyond their signature bow attacks, these warriors wield arrow barrages, armor-piercing shots, and smoke bombs that grant everything from offensive buffs to crucial evasion capabilities.
The free-to-play experience also receives a substantial overhaul. All players now gain access to 50 extra inventory slots, while new free accounts begin with an initial stash of 80 slots. Additionally, skill resets are now available for gold at any time, though the cost increases based on your character's level.

Draw and loose
Further enhancing the free-to-play journey, Soul, Heart, and Blessed Fragments have been removed from the standard Eterspire store. The latter two items are now exclusive to the Bastion shop, where they can be purchased using Bastion Points. Players can also collect Teleport Orbs through mob skills and continue earning EXP even with full inventory space, albeit at reduced rates for both drops and experience growth.
While these adjustments may appear minor on paper, they highlight the dedication of developer Stonehollow Workshop as they manage the complex demands of maintaining an MMORPG—a notoriously resource-heavy genre. Their commitment to improving player accessibility is truly commendable.
As you dive into Eterspire to test these updates, keep an eye out for a lively Halloween celebration at the Stonehollow Fairgrounds! If that doesn't send shivers down your spine, be sure to explore some even spookier titles on our curated list of the best horror games available for Android.
