The Painter’s Regret treasure map is located in Emerald Stair, the second expansive area you'll explore in *Avowed*. Head to the northeast end of Coastal Farms, where you’ll find a large house positioned in front of a rock face. Be prepared to encounter a significant number of enemies guarding the exterior; you and your party must defeat them before entering the house.

How To Get Into the Painter’s Regret House in Avowed
As is typical in RPGs, accessing the house isn't as straightforward as walking through the front door, which you'll find barred. After dealing with the enemies outside, navigate around to the right side of the house. You'll discover a walkway leading to an unbarred back door, allowing you entry.
Once inside, you'll notice a large painting on an easel. This is your treasure map. Grab it, and you're set to embark on your treasure hunt in *Avowed*.
With the map in hand, head to the western side of the river, southwest of Fior mes Iverno. Your reward for this quest will be the Painter’s Brush, a unique trinket that boosts your critical hit chance by 5%, enhancing your combat effectiveness in the Living Lands.
