Authore: SavannahUpdate:May 02,2025

Drug Dealer Simulator Schedule I continues to captivate players as one of Steam's most-played games, and its first significant post-launch update, version 0.3.4, has been released for beta testing. Developer Tyler announced on the game's Steam page that the update is currently available on the beta branch, where it will remain for a day or two before a full release. Players eager to try out the new features can opt into the beta branch immediately.

Tyler emphasized that the beta version doesn't include all the features planned for the full release, noting, "I'll be adding a few more decorative objects tomorrow [April 8]. I wanted to get this beta out ASAP so that the new wall-mounted objects and pawn shop interface can be thoroughly trialed."

Upon its launch, Schedule I quickly became the top-selling game on Steam, outpacing popular titles like Monster Hunter Wilds, GTA 5, and Marvel Rivals. Its viral spread across social media, Twitch, and YouTube has drawn in more players than anticipated. In the game, players start as small-time dealers in the gritty city of Hyland Point and work their way up to becoming drug kingpins, managing everything from production to distribution, and expanding their empire with properties, businesses, and employees.

Developed and published by the Australian indie developer Tyler under the banner of TVGS, the explosive launch of Schedule I has been both "amazing but pretty overwhelming" for Tyler. He shared his surprise and gratitude on Reddit, saying, "I never expected this kind of response! At the moment I’m just trying to stay focused and get patches out ASAP. Also looking forward to getting started on content updates as soon as all major bugs are patched."
