We Reviewed Both AMD Graphics Cards
We rated the AMD Radeon RX 9070 an impressive 8/10. Priced the same as the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070, it outperforms in most games we tested and boasts more VRAM (16GB vs 12GB), suggesting it's more future-proof. Power consumption is similar to the RTX 5070.

"The AMD Radeon RX 9070 excels as a 1440p graphics card, making Nvidia's offerings seem less compelling. With superb 1440p performance, it often achieves high refresh rates without frame generation and includes an AI upscaler for enhanced image quality. The only downside is its similarity to the Radeon RX 9070 XT."
We awarded the AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT a perfect 10/10. Despite being $150 cheaper than the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti, the 9070 XT outperforms it in several games. It also comes with 16GB of VRAM, matching both the 9070 and the 5070 Ti. However, it consumes more power and runs hotter than the RTX 5070 Ti.
