Developer Sad Cat Studios previously announced a 2025 release date, describing development as a "unique challenge." The game's journey has been marked by delays from its initial 2022 target, then to 2023, and finally to 2024. Despite these setbacks, the studio remains dedicated to delivering a top-tier product, fueled by the considerable anticipation surrounding the game.
First unveiled in 2021 during Microsoft's E3 presentation, Replaced has generated significant buzz. While Sad Cat Studios hasn't yet officially addressed this latest delay, they have provided intermittent updates, including combat footage and a mini-game showcase earlier this year.
