Today marks a thrilling update for fans of Crashlands 2 as Butterscotch Shenanigans releases version 1.1, bringing with it a host of new features and improvements that resonate with the desires of the original Crashlands community.
What’s in Store in Crashlands 2 Update 1.1?
The highlight of this update is the introduction of Legend Mode, a new difficulty level that surpasses even the Challenge Mode. In Legend Mode, the creatures of Woanope are not only faster and more aggressive but also boast significantly higher health points. On the flip side, Flux Dabes is now more fragile than ever. While there are no additional achievements for conquering Legend Mode, completing it will automatically unlock all achievements from lower difficulty settings, providing a satisfying reward for those who dare to take on this challenge.
For those seeking a more relaxed experience, Explorer Mode has been added. This mode reduces the intensity of combat, allowing players to focus on the joys of farming mushrooms, building a cozy home, and fishing in peace. It's the perfect setting to immerse yourself in the game's story, decorate your base, and enjoy the quirky company of Crashlands 2's unique characters.
A significant addition to the game is the return of The Compendium. Responding to player feedback, The Compendium meticulously tracks everything Flux discovers, from pets and recipes to items, helping players keep track of their progress towards completing the game's myriad goals.
Pets also got a bit of an upgrade
With Update 1.1, pets in Crashlands 2 are no longer just companions; they now actively participate in combat. Each pet comes equipped with a special ability that can be activated every 20 seconds, adding a strategic layer to battles.
The update also enhances gear crafting, introducing random bonus stats on armor and a wide array of new gadgets, weapons, and trinkets to discover and craft.
Numerous quality of life improvements have been implemented throughout the update. Players can now build on a greater variety of terrain, customize the location of their home teleporter, and adjust the level of darkness during nighttime, enhancing the overall gameplay experience.
Crashlands 2 is available for download on the Google Play Store. Launched on April 10th, this update underscores Butterscotch Shenanigans' commitment to listening to and acting on player feedback.
