Sony Pictures has set the stage for an exciting cinematic experience with the announcement of Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc, slated to slice into US theaters on October 29, 2025. The news broke during Sony's CinemaCon presentation, where they unveiled their acquisition of worldwide theatrical rights, excluding Japan, for the film adaptation of Tatsuki Fujimoto’s beloved work. This fall, US audiences will get their chance to see the movie, following its earlier release in over 80 countries on September 24, 2025. Toho will handle the film's debut in Japan on September 19, 2025.

The announcement in December 2023 of the Chainsaw Man movie sparked excitement as a direct sequel to the MAPPA-produced anime that debuted in 2022. The story follows Denji, a young protagonist who gains a new lease on life through a pact with a Chainsaw Devil named Pochita. This unique bond grants him the extraordinary ability to transform parts of his body into chainsaws, propelling him into a thrilling journey beyond being just a Chainsaw Man.
Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc will introduce fans to the character Reze, a significant figure from the original manga. Directed by Tatsuya Yoshihara and penned by Hiroshi Seko, the film brings back the entire voice cast from the anime series to reprise their roles, ensuring a seamless continuation of the story.
