Onimusha: Way of the Sword – A 2026 Release
Onimusha: Way of the Sword, slated for a 2026 launch, will feature a new protagonist, compelling characters, and engaging enemies. The game aims for immersive sword combat, set in a meticulously recreated Edo Period Kyoto. The protagonist, through a twist of fate, wields an Oni Gauntlet, fueled by the souls of defeated Genma. While challenging, the difficulty is designed to be accessible to action fans of all skill levels.
Onimusha 2: Samurai's Destiny – Remastered in 2025
A remastered version of the 2002 classic, Onimusha 2: Samurai's Destiny, is scheduled for release in 2025, bridging the gap until Onimusha: Way of the Sword's arrival.
Monster Hunter Wilds Open Beta 2 Details
Monster Hunter Wilds' second Open Beta introduces the flagship monster, Arkveld, in a challenging advanced quest. Other additions include a Gypceros Hunt, a training area, Private Lobbies, and Online Single Player mode. Data from the first Beta can be transferred. The Beta runs:
- Thursday, February 6th, 7 PM PT – Sunday, February 9th, 6:59 PM PT
- Thursday, February 13th, 7 PM PT – Sunday, February 16th, 6:59 PM PT
Character data transfers to the full game (February 28th release), but progress does not. Participants receive a special Pendant.
Monster Hunter Wilds – Iceshard Cliffs and New Enemies
