In a video uploaded on April 8, Super Cafe shared details about his journey to San Francisco, where he plans to stay for the next two months. His mission? To be among the very first people on the West Coast to get his hands on both the new console and to walk through the doors of the newly opened store.
Despite having lived in his apartment for just two months, Super Cafe admits this is a questionable financial move—but he’s not looking back. “Terrible financial decision on my end. Whatever, who cares,” he said with a laugh.
He isn’t the only one staking out a Nintendo Store for the Switch 2 launch. On the East Coast, another content creator is camping outside the New York location, mirroring this nostalgic tradition of console launch anticipation. While Super Cafe plans to camp solo, he also extended an invitation to others considering the same experience, encouraging them to reach out if they’re thinking of joining him.
