How Camo Challenge Tracking Works in Blacks Ops 6

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 2 has arrived, bringing with it a game-changing feature: Camo Challenge Tracking. This handy tool significantly streamlines the camo grind, making the pursuit of Dark Matter, Nebula, and 100 Percenter achievements much more manageable.

Simplified Camo Challenge Progress in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6

The patch notes highlight Camo Challenge Tracking as a system allowing players to manually track up to 10 Camo and 10 Calling Card Challenges simultaneously. But that's not all. The system also cleverly identifies and notifies players of near-completion challenges, even those not actively tracked, offering a helpful nudge towards those coveted unlocks.

This new feature lets you hand-pick 10 camos to monitor, providing readily accessible progress updates during gameplay, eliminating the need to constantly check the main menu. The tracker proactively alerts you to challenges nearing completion, even if they aren't among your tracked selections.

How to Track Camo and Calling Card Challenges in Black Ops 6

To add a challenge to your tracker, navigate to the desired Camo or Calling Card challenge and press Y (Xbox) or Triangle (PlayStation). This allows you to monitor your progress in real-time during matches, rather than waiting until after the game to assess your next steps.

Even without actively tracking a challenge, the game automatically highlights those closest to completion. This information is always visible, ensuring you're never far from knowing what to focus on next.

The Daily Challenges section in the *Call of Duty: Black Ops 6* lobby also displays your top tracked and near-complete camo and calling card challenges, offering a comprehensive overview of your progress.

Unlocking special camos is also easier now. Previously requiring nine preceding military camos, the Season 2 update reduces this requirement to five. While you still need two special camos to earn mastery camos, this change significantly reduces the grind.

Treyarch has clearly responded to player feedback regarding the sheer number of camos and the difficulty of tracking progress. This update makes earning and equipping camos more efficient, enhancing the overall *Call of Duty: Black Ops 6* experience.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is available now on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
