The Sims 4's Blast from the Past event presents numerous rewarding challenges, but some prove trickier than others. One such challenge requires breaking and repairing an object. This guide outlines the process.
Week 2's challenge necessitates raising your Sim's Handiness skill to level 2 or higher, then repairing a broken item. The difficulty lies in locating a broken object. The simplest solution is to intentionally break something. While using the "prank" interaction is an option, it requires specific Sim traits. A more straightforward method involves repeatedly using an item until it breaks.
The Ambassador toilet provides a cost-effective choice. Its inexpensive nature makes it prone to breaking. Repeated use (approximately a dozen times) will cause it to malfunction, spraying water. This can be achieved by your Sim or by having guests use it. The malfunctioning toilet now qualifies as a broken object.
Repairing the broken item is straightforward. With Handiness at level 2 or higher, select the "Repair" option on the broken object. The repair process takes a few seconds, resolving the water issue and completing the Blast from the Past challenge.
