Battlefield 6 & Labs Early Access: Sign-Up Guide

Authore: NathanUpdate:Mar 13,2025

At long last, EA has unveiled Battlefield Labs and offered our first glimpse of the next Battlefield game. To help shape the future of the franchise, you can sign up for Battlefield Labs and gain early access to the next Battlefield title. Here's how to get involved.

What is Battlefield Labs?

Battlefield Labs

EA's Battlefield Labs program invites select players to directly influence the development of the next Battlefield game. This program offers chosen fans the unique opportunity to participate in early, remote playtests and provide direct feedback to the developers at EA's Battlefield Studios. Think of it as a seat at the war room table!

Initially, a few thousand players in Europe and North America will be selected, with plans to expand to other regions and tens of thousands of players in the future. Battlefield Labs will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

Is Battlefield Labs Different Than a Beta?

Unlike previous Battlefield betas, Battlefield Labs offers a significantly different experience. The content you'll access is work-in-progress, meaning you'll encounter more bugs, rough edges, and technical issues than in a typical beta.

EA seeks valuable feedback on core gameplay elements like combat loops, map flow, and balance. However, participation requires signing a non-disclosure agreement (NDA), preventing public sharing of information.

How to Sign Up for Battlefield Labs and Gain Early Access

Visit the Battlefield Labs webpage to learn more and sign up. You'll need to log in or create an EA account, link it to your preferred gaming platform, and then sign in. You may encounter a queue; if so, remember you only have 15 minutes to access the website once your turn arrives.

After gaining access, complete the required information and register your email address. Keep an eye on your inbox for updates from the official Battlefield Labs newsletter, including playtest invitations if selected.

EA has announced the next Battlefield game will launch in their fiscal year 2026, meaning a release before April 1, 2026.
