While playing *Astro Bot*, you'll have the chance to explore numerous worlds, but there's a special thrill in uncovering the secret Lost Galaxy. To get there, you need to find hidden portals scattered across ten different worlds. Here's a detailed guide on where to locate these portals.
Where Are the Portal Locations to the Lost Galaxy in Astro Bot?
As you navigate through *Astro Bot*, keep an eye out for stages marked with a unique swirly icon. This icon indicates the presence of a portal to the Lost Galaxy within that stage. These portals might be tucked away early in a level or hidden right at the end, so vigilance is key. If you're eager to discover these secret passages without the hassle, this guide will direct you to each portal and explain how to access them.
Hidden Portal #1: Az-Tech Trail
Midway through the level, you'll encounter a dark room with a wall surrounded by four lit torches. Use the Twin-Frog Gloves to extinguish each fire, which will cause the wall to open, revealing the portal.
Hidden Portal #2: Creamy Canyon
Early in the level, you'll come across a snowy arena with a bouncing ladybug enemy. Move slightly past it to find a pig. Grab it after it charges at you, then swing it towards the edge of the platform until you target the icy statue. Release the pig to shatter the statue. Backtrack, flip the ladybug, and use it to bounce up to a platform where a charged spin attack will reveal a room with the secret portal.
Hidden Portal #3: Go-Go Archipelago
After defeating Captain Pincher, turn around to spot where his claw is stuck in the ground. A glowing light will be visible, indicating where you should perform a charged spin attack. Drill into the ground to uncover a hidden room filled with treasure and the secret portal.
Hidden Portal #4: Downsize Surprise
Near the end of the level, you'll encounter a frog that blows bubbles. Blow into the controller to prompt the frog to start blowing bubbles. Shrink your size and ride a bubble up to the branch above the bot, possibly switching bubbles to avoid popping. Navigate to the opposite branch to find the next secret portal.
Hidden Portal #5: Free Big Brother!
This portal is one of the easiest to find. Right at the start of the level, turn around to see platforms with an electric enemy. Swim over to it and lure it into electrocuting the platforms. This action will open the wall behind it, revealing the hidden portal.
Hidden Portal #6: Bathhouse Battle
Midway through the level, locate the house with the flaming chimney. After absorbing water, climb to the roof and douse the flames. Then, descend down the chimney to enter a room containing the secret portal.
Hidden Portal #7: Hieiroglitch Pyramid
At the level's end, turn right to see an area with falling jewels. Use the bounce pad to reach a hidden area. Before accessing the portal, you'll trigger a trap. Find the hidden switches in the two walls pushing you back to open the path to the portal.
Hidden Portal #8: Balloon Breeze
This portal is the most challenging to find. Obtain the puffer-fish power-up and backtrack to an area near the start with a distant platform and a bouncing ladybug. Flip the ladybug and punch it towards the platform's edge. Bounce on it, activate the puffer-fish power-up, and use Astro's hover ability to reach the platform. Use motion controls to cut down the surrounding bamboo until the portal is visible. Run around its perimeter to power it up and activate it.
Hidden Portal #9: Djinny of the Lamp
After defeating Djinny and reaching the goal, turn around and climb the ruins. The glowing ground indicates invisible platforms. Hover over these platforms, identified by glowing concrete slabs, to reach an elevated platform. Unroll the rug to ride to another elevated platform where the secret portal awaits.
Hidden Portal #10: Frozen Meal
Before engaging the boss, roll the snowball until it's massive. Use it as a platform to reach the cliffside area, where you'll find the final secret portal in *Astro Bot*.
