Ezio Auditore, Assassin's Creed's Iconic Protagonist, Wins Ubisoft Japan's Character Awards!
Ubisoft Japan's 30th-anniversary celebration culminated in a character popularity contest, and the results are in! Ezio Auditore da Firenze, the beloved protagonist of several Assassin's Creed titles, has claimed the top spot. This online event, running from November 1st, 2024, allowed fans to vote for their three favorite characters across Ubisoft's extensive game library.
To mark Ezio's victory, Ubisoft Japan has unveiled a specially designed illustration of the character and released four free digital wallpapers (available for PCs and smartphones). Furthermore, a lottery will award 30 lucky fans with an Ezio acrylic stand set, and 10 will receive a unique 180cm Ezio body pillow.
The top ten characters, as announced on Ubisoft Japan's website and X (formerly Twitter), are:

- Aiden Pearce (Watch Dogs)
- Edward James Kenway (Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag)
- Bayek (Assassin's Creed Origins)
- Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad (Assassin's Creed)
- Wrench (Watch Dogs)
- Pagan Min (Far Cry)
- Eivor Varinsdottir (Assassin's Creed Valhalla)
- Kassandra (Assassin's Creed Odyssey)
- Aaron Keener (The Division 2)
In a related poll, the Assassin's Creed franchise itself also secured first place, surpassing Rainbow Six Siege and Watch Dogs. The Division and Far Cry series followed in fourth and fifth place respectively.
