Optris' new IRmobile app seamlessly integrates infrared thermometers (pyrometers) and IR cameras with your smartphone or tablet. This user-friendly application enables real-time monitoring and analysis of infrared temperature readings. Compatible with most Android devices (version 12 or higher) equipped with a microUSB or USB-C port supporting USB-OTG, the app boasts automatic launch upon connecting an Optris device. A built-in simulator allows for function testing even without a connected device.

Key features include adjustable temperature units, zoomable temperature-time diagrams, live infrared imaging with automated hot/cold spot detection, and more. Support extends to Optris pyrometers (Compact, high-performance series, and videothermometers) and PI/Xi series IR cameras. Android devices meeting the specified requirements are supported. Recommended smartphone models for IR camera use include Samsung S10, Galaxy S21, Sony Xperia XA1 Plus G3421, Google Pixel 6 & 7, and Xiaomi Note 8, Note 11, and Mi10T Pro.
