Application Description

The drums pound, horns blare. It is time for you to perform a warrior's dance.

Born into poverty, driven by ambition. Now is your chance to forge your own legend—will it end in tragedy or triumph?

Cross oceans and burn through forests. Camp beneath the stars and find love. Immerse yourself in a land rich with religion and customs, yet scarred by fire and fury.

Serve as a scout, an assassin, and a warrior. Through cunning and strength, become a hero. Debate with chieftains, duel with champions, and watch as the gods judge your people.

"By Crom" is a 75,000-word historical-fantasy interactive fiction by Fionn Graham, where your choices drive the narrative. It is a text-based experience—without graphics or sound effects—powered by the vast, unstoppable force of your imagination.
