In the year 2xxx, a mysterious virus strikes Earth, triggering a bizarre affliction scientists dub the "zombie" condition. This pathogen causes horrific mutations, transforming people into mindless zombies of varying sizes. These infected beings are driven by an insatiable attraction to noise and human blood.

You are a survivor in this devastated world. To protect your cherished home and the few remaining people, you must establish a fortified base with layered defenses. Strategic deployment of defense towers is key to reinforcing your stronghold and ensuring its safety.

At each level's start, you'll survey the battlefield—an 8x8 grid—and the monsters' predetermined route. Your task is to use puzzle-piece-shaped wall fragments to design a new path, forcing enemies through your defensive tower gauntlet to be eliminated. Your ultimate mission: defend the home from the relentless monster onslaught.

The home is located at a fixed point in every level. You can position your puzzle pieces anywhere on the grid, provided you leave at least one open space in every row.

Every level challenges you with 6 waves of monsters. Initially, you choose one of two tower cards. Once selected, it joins your pool of buildable pieces. Place your towers strategically on the grid before the assault begins. After each wave, you can select additional cards from a choice of two new tower types or a powerful stat card. Stat cards enhance all your existing towers, while new tower cards expand your defensive arsenal.
