The Guardians of the Road project has been revitalized with a fresh application featuring a convenient and enhanced user experience.

Join the Road Guard initiative and help save lives!

Launched in 2016, the "Guardians of the Road - the road for us all" project aims to boost awareness and encourage careful, safe driving on our streets. Since January 1, 2023, operations have been managed by the "Safe Path" association.

Any citizen aged 18 or older can download the "Road Guards" applet and begin documenting traffic violations.

Using the app is quick and simple: activate it before you start driving, then trigger the reporting feature when you spot a violation. You can initiate a report via voice command or by pressing the Bluetooth button on your steering wheel. The app will automatically record video and capture details of the offense.

These reports are sent to a control center staffed by experienced volunteer traffic controllers. After review, the driver receives an "on-the-way letter" containing a link to the recorded violation footage. For serious offenses that endanger life, the report is forwarded directly to the police for further action.
