Words from Words and Contrary is a word puzzle where you form new words from the letters of a given word. Compose words, progress through levels, enhance your erudition, train your memory, and learn the meanings of any unfamiliar words you encounter.

This English-language game is free to play and works offline; you'll only need an internet connection to access hints.

⭐ Main Game. Discover new words using the letters from a single, longer word.

⭐ Contrary Game. Figure out which single word was used to create the other words displayed.

⭐ Word of the Day. A daily challenge to guess the featured word and earn a bonus.

The goal is to find all hidden words and complete every level. Success requires attention and patience, but with engaging levels and daily tasks, the game promises to keep you entertained.

HOW TO PLAY

✅ Words from the Word.

You are given one long word. Your task is to find all the words intended for that level. Tap on the letters to form words. If a valid word is created and is part of the level's list, it will appear as guessed. For example, from the word "ADVICE," you can make: ice, idea, dive, cave, diva, and others.

✅ The Contrary Game.

Several words are shown on screen, all formed from the letters of one hidden word. Your job is to guess that original word. Only singular nouns are used. For example, from the words: harp, heart, carpet, you must deduce they come from the word "CHAPTER".

✅ Word of the Day.

A daily challenge where you uncover hidden words in a crossword-style format. Completing it rewards you with game coins and reveals the level's target word.

Earn coins for words you find and use them to purchase hints.

The current version includes 40 levels in the main game and 70 levels in the reverse game, with varying difficulty and word lengths. To finish the game, you'll need to uncover over 1200 words. We regularly add new levels and challenges.
