Wuthering Waves' Whisperwind Haven holds several "Overflowing Palette" puzzles. These require players to color blocks to a specific target color within a limited number of steps, indicated in the bottom-left corner. Rovers must strategically use the available dyes (right side of the screen) to achieve a monochromatic result.
Whisperwind Haven Overflowing Palette Solutions
Location #1 (Egla Town Cave): This puzzle is found within Egla Town's cave (southeast of the Rinascita-Whisperwind Haven-Egla Town Resonance Beacon). Descend the stairs to the foggy stream and locate the artwork. To turn all blocks green:
- Use yellow dye on the red blocks.
- Use blue dye on the yellow blocks.
- Use green dye on the blue blocks.
Solving this puzzle triggers a call and initiates the "When Colors Fade" quest.
Location #2 (Northwest of Egla Town): Located by the large lake northwest of Egla Town. The goal is to make all blocks red:
- Use blue dye on the top yellow blocks.
- Use green dye on the blue squares and the lower yellow blocks.
- Use red dye on all the green blocks.
Location #3 (Northwest of Rinascita-Ragunna): This puzzle is found by a lake, northwest of the Rinascita-Ragunna-Whisperwind Haven northern Resonance Beacon. The objective is to color all blocks blue:
- Use red dye on the green blocks.
- Use yellow dye on the red blocks.
- Use blue dye on all the yellow blocks.
Location #4 (Northeast of Polyphemos Windmills): Located northeast of Polyphemos Windmills. Teleport to the city's Resonance Beacon and jump from the northeastern edge. The solution to make all blocks yellow is:
- Use blue dye on the green blocks.
- Use red dye on the blue blocks.
- Use yellow dye on all the red blocks.
Using Resonate Calcite
Resonate Calcite, a crafting material, is a reward for completing these puzzles. Trade it with Vida in Egla Town (Stillwind Grocery) for items like Poetry and Paean Weapon chests, and upgrade materials.
