Wuthering Waves has just released its Version 2.3 update, dubbed "Fiery Arpeggio of Summer," in celebration of the game's first anniversary and its launch on Steam. Now, you can experience the game on PC, adding to the excitement of this update which rolls out across four phases from April 29th to June 12th, 2025.
The update introduces new characters, enriching story arcs, and a plethora of event content. If you've reached a decent Union Level, you're in for a treat with tons of engaging activities to dive into over the next month. Key storylines to look out for include "A Blaze in the Dark" and "Your Summer Will Never Wither." Additionally, the update brings a fresh wave of Phantom Echoes, featuring Crownless (along with its Nightmare version), Nimbus Wraith, and the sneaky Chest Mimic.
To celebrate the anniversary, the "Gifts of Grand Celebration" login event will run from May 23rd to June 11th, rewarding players at Union Level 8 with Radiant Tides and a Moment of Resonance. Alongside this, the "Gifts of Grand Reunion" and "Gifts of Melodic Verses" login events will offer Radiant Tide, Lustrous Tide, Astrite, Modifiers, and various upgrade materials, spanning from April 29th to June 11th and June 5th to June 19th, respectively.
The update also brings back the popular minigame, Cubie Derby, both as a warm-up leisure event and a spectator event where you can cheer for your favorite Cubes. Roll the dice, move your Cube on the board, and collect rewards such as Phantom: Chest Mimic and Flight Aspect: Laureate.
In the first phase of the update, you'll have the chance to pull for Resonators like Lumi, Taoqi, and Yuanwu, along with weapons including Dauntless Evernight, Overture, and Hollow Mirage, available until June 11th. Don't miss out on other exciting events like the Solaris Film Festival.
