The Poppy Field in Stalker 2 holds more than just a side quest; it's home to the enigmatic Weird Flower Artifact. This guide details its location and usage.
Locating the Weird Flower
The Weird Flower is nestled in the northern part of the Poppy Field, beyond the central L-shaped structure. Be warned: the field's effects induce drowsiness and hallucinations. Stock up on Non-Stop Energy Drinks to mitigate these effects. Keep moving until you spot a small, blue flower on the ground – your prize.
Utilizing the Weird Flower
Equip the Weird Flower in your Artifact slot (located above the Quick Access section). The number of Artifacts you can equip depends on your gear; early-game players typically have only one slot.
The Weird Flower provides a temporary stealth bonus, but only after sleeping while wearing it. A bed in the Trader's side room in the Lesser Zone is a convenient location to achieve this. Note that sleeping may advance the in-game time significantly.
The Weird Flower's practical value is limited due to the scarcity of sleeping locations. If stealth isn't your preferred playstyle, selling it to a trader is a viable option.
