Ultimate Arise Crossover Beginner’s Guide (Beta)
Authore: EleanorUpdate:Mar 16,2025
At first glance, *Arise Crossover* appears deceptively simple: amass Shadow units, attack defenseless enemies, and steadily enhance your team. However, even seasoned players can find themselves puzzled about progression, leveling, optimal Shadow choices, and more. This guide addresses those common questions, helping you navigate the game's nuances.

Each of *Arise Crossover*'s three islands offers various recruitable Shadows, including a powerful dungeon Shadow per island. Currently, Soondoo (easily acquired early on) is the weakest unit, while Mifalcon (found on Brum Island) reigns supreme.

Rank, however, trumps unit type. A Rank A Soondoo significantly outperforms a Rank D Mifalcon. Higher-ranked units achieve greater level caps; a Rank D unit maxes out at level 75, while an SS unit can reach level 200. Therefore, the ultimate team comprises four level 200 Mifalcons (SS rank), but the journey to that point is the true challenge.

Dungeon portals appear every 30 minutes, persisting for 15 minutes. Even joining a dungeon seconds before closure allows full completion. Portals spawn randomly across each island, with varying difficulty ranks.
Begin with a team of Rank D units and tackle Rank D (or C) dungeons on Leveling Island. This provides a solid foundation and a chance to recruit rare (boss) Shadow units. Dungeons are the sole method for recruiting rare units and common units exceeding Rank C.

Whenever a portal spawns, participate! Even with a weaker team, waiting near a portal often attracts higher-level players willing to assist. Many players solo dungeons readily and welcome lower-level players. Accept this helpfulness to acquire higher-ranking units. Dungeon Shadow recruitment is key to progression in *Arise Crossover*.
Our experience involved a kind player guiding us through a Rank A dungeon with our Rank C units, allowing us to recruit Rank A units and reach the endgame. We later reciprocated by assisting players with Rank D units in a Rank S dungeon. We encourage you to adopt this collaborative spirit.
Arise Crossover Weapons

During this Beta phase, player weapons are largely ineffective. While helpful early on, their impact diminishes significantly as you progress.
The Iron Kando Blade, the currently strongest common weapon, costs 60m and deals 516.1K damage. This pales in comparison to unit damage (200-400 million). Unless you have excess currency, save your funds for future updates.
How to get a mount in Arise Crossover

Wild mounts spawn every 15 minutes, claimable by only one player per server. A server-wide message announces their appearance, but not always their capture or disappearance.
Six potential spawn locations exist: one on each main island's backside and one on each smaller island between the main islands. Consult the developer's map for precise locations.

Each mount is claimable only once, and capture attempts can fail. Flying mounts are rarest (approximately 10% spawn rate), ground mounts are frequent, and water mounts are available from the Boat Shop NPC.
To acquire a mount, monitor the server messages, and quickly visit all six locations. While not essential for progression, mounts, especially flying mounts, significantly enhance travel.
