Clash Royale has unveiled a long-anticipated upgrade for its Inferno Dragon. Nearly a decade after its introduction without Evolution capabilities, this legendary fiery creature finally receives a significant power boost. To commemorate the occasion, Supercell collaborated with Finnish comedian Ismo Leikola for a special promotional reveal.

The Evolution form fundamentally transforms the Inferno Dragon's combat effectiveness. Unlike its original incarnation that reset damage when switching targets, the upgraded version sustains its escalating damage output for devastating impact.
Inferno Dragon Evolution Ignites Latest Season
The new season, titled How to Evolve Your Dragon!, introduces the Inferno Dragon Evolution while reviving the popular 2v2 League. Players can team up with friends or random allies to climb the competitive ladder.
Milestone Events, available from Arena 7 onward, offer rewards including 3 Lumberjack Evolution Shards, an Epic Book of Cards, and exclusive cosmetic items.
Crown Chase #1 presents players with a fully-customizable Battle Banner accompanied by an Epic Book of Cards. Crown Chase #2 follows with additional banner rewards and 3 Evolution Shards.
To showcase these new Evolution cards, developers have scheduled an array of Special Modes and Challenges throughout June and early July. The Inferno Dragon Evolution Draft runs June 2-9, followed by the Inferno Dragon Challenge from June 6-9 featuring exclusive Battle Banner and Emote rewards.
Evolution Mayhem (June 9-16) permits up to 4 Evolution Cards per deck. Magical Trio follows June 16-23, then 4 Card Showdown June 23-30. Evolution Bonanza concludes the season June 30-July 7 with decks containing up to 8 Evolution Cards.
