January 2025's PlayStation Plus Free Games Lineup: Suicide Squad, Need for Speed, and The Stanley Parable
PlayStation Plus subscribers can now claim three free games for January 2025: Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered, and The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe. These titles are available until February 3rd.
This month's selection includes the controversial Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, a PS5 title from Rocksteady Studios, known for the Batman: Arkham series. While its initial reception was mixed, PlayStation Plus members can now experience it for free. The game boasts a substantial file size of 79.43 GB on PS5.
Also included is the remastered classic racing game, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered. Available only for PS4 (31.55 GB), it's playable on PS5 via backward compatibility, though it doesn't utilize the console's enhanced features.
Rounding out the trio is The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe, featuring native versions for both PS4 (5.10 GB) and PS5 (5.77 GB). This expanded edition of the original 2013 game includes new content and improved accessibility options.
To download all three games, PS5 users will need approximately 117 GB of free storage space.
Sony is expected to announce February's PlayStation Plus games towards the end of January. The service will continue to expand its Extra and Premium game libraries throughout the year.
