Electronic Arts recently hosted a livestream event to hype up the 25th anniversary of The Sims franchise. The event showcased the exciting free gifts and in-game events planned for The Sims 4 players.
The festivities have already started with a new update. This update includes bug fixes, a revamped main menu, performance improvements, and refreshed versions of classic houses in Willow Creek and Oasis Springs. These updated houses are available immediately for new games, and accessible via the library for existing saves.

The main anniversary celebration begins February 4th. A significant update will add over 70 free items! Simultaneously, a new in-game event, "Blast from the Past," launches. Players can earn retro-themed items and a complete new set by completing simple challenges.
Furthermore, a new season called "Motherlode" will commence on February 6th. Details about this season's content are currently being kept under wraps, adding to the anticipation.
