Celebrate 25 Years of The Sims with Legacy Collections!
EA and Maxis are throwing a fantastic anniversary party for The Sims franchise's 25th birthday! Today, you can relive the magic of the original Sims experiences with the newly released The Sims: Legacy Collection and The Sims 2: Legacy Collection on PC. These collections are available individually or bundled together for $40 in The Sims 25th Birthday Bundle.
Both collections include nearly all expansions and stuff packs. While The Sims 2: Legacy Collection is missing the IKEA Home Stuff pack, it still boasts a comprehensive package. Even better, both include bonus content: The Sims gets the Throwback Fit Kit, and The Sims 2 receives the Grunge Revival Kit.
This marks a momentous occasion – the first time in over a decade that both The Sims and The Sims 2 are readily accessible digitally. The original Sims was only available on disc, making it nearly impossible to obtain for modern PC users. The Sims 2 had a brief resurgence in 2014 via an Ultimate Collection, but that was later removed from EA's Origin store. Now, with these Legacy Collections, all four core Sims games are easily obtainable through digital platforms.
