Following Silksong's brief appearance at the Nintendo Direct for Switch 2 on April 2, many fans worried that the game might bypass the current generation and launch directly on the next-gen console. Originally announced in 2019 for PC and the original Switch, Silksong's platform list expanded later to include PlayStation and Xbox consoles.
Matthew Griffin, Team Cherry's Marketing and PR Handler, took to Twitter (X) on April 8 to address these concerns. He confirmed that Silksong will be available on both the original Switch and the upcoming Switch 2.
