How to Sell Stolen Items in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2

In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, pilfering goods offers a tempting shortcut to wealth, but carries risks. Selling stolen items directly is problematic; most merchants refuse such transactions, and possession of stolen goods can lead to arrest. Here's how to navigate this:

Selling Stolen Goods:

The simplest method is to store stolen items in a chest. After approximately one to two in-game weeks, the "stolen" marker disappears, allowing you to sell them to any merchant NPC without issue. Guards checking your inventory will no longer flag the items as stolen.

The waiting period varies depending on the item's value; more expensive items take longer to clear.

Alternative Methods:

  • Perks: The "Hustler" and "Partner in Crime" perks (Speech skill tree) enable immediate sale of stolen goods, making them worthwhile investments.

  • Fences: Early in the game, a fence operates within the Nomads' Camp, providing an alternative sales outlet for stolen items.
