City Safari: Global Debut for Pokemon Go Stamp Rally

Authore: SkylarUpdate:Sep 01,2026

  • Collect stamps across the host city
  • Eight stamps are available to gather
  • Meet an Eevee with every stamp you collect

With the current Go Pass active until October 7th, your schedule might already seem full this month. But in Pokémon Go, exciting new adventures are always on the horizon. The upcoming GO Stamp Rallies invite you to explore local landmarks in a fresh way – and it’s especially thrilling as this marks the first time the activity is available to fans outside Japan. The Pokémon Go City Safari events will be hosted in Amsterdam, Bangkok, Cancún, Valencia, and Vancouver.

As a fan of stamp rallies myself, I see this as a fantastic chance for Trainers to get out, discover their host city, and collect cool in-game stamps along the way.

So, how do you start the stamp rally? If you’re taking part in a City Safari event, simply enter the citywide gameplay area. Then, visit any PokéStop that’s part of the City Safari stamp rally, and you’ll receive your digital stamp sheet.

To collect a stamp, spin the Photo Disc at the PokéStop. Depending on how long you press, the stamp’s design may change, but it will always show the PokéStop’s name and the date it was collected. A neat feature, right?

You can earn up to eight stamps as you journey through the City Safari zone. And yes – each stamp rewards you with an encounter against an Eevee wearing a cute explorer hat.

If you’re excited to dive into the fun, you can download Pokémon Go for free from the App Store or Google Play. The game is free-to-play and offers optional in-app purchases.

You can also follow the official community via the game’s website to keep up with the latest news, or browse our list of active Pokémon Go codes for extra free rewards.
