Best Peni Parker Decks in Marvel Snap

Following Galacta and Luna Snow, Peni Parker—a familiar face from the acclaimed Spider-Verse films—is the next Marvel Rivals themed card joining Marvel Snap. Similar to Luna Snow, Peni Parker is a ramp card, but with a unique twist.

How Peni Parker Works in Marvel Snap

Peni Parker is a 2-cost, 3-power card with the ability: On Reveal: Add SP//dr to your hand. When this merges, you gain +1 Energy next turn.

SP//dr is a 3-cost, 3-power card with the ability: On Reveal: Merge with one of your cards here. You can move that card next turn.

While initially complex, Peni Parker essentially adds a Hulk Buster-like card to your hand, enabling board manipulation. Crucially, any card merging with Peni Parker grants you +1 energy for your next turn—not just SP//dr. Hulk Buster and Agony are examples of cards that can trigger this bonus energy.

The extra move from SP//dr, however, only functions on the turn after merging and is a one-time effect.

Mastering Peni Parker requires time. The combined 5-energy cost for the merge and extra energy is significant, but synergies exist, particularly with Wiccan. Here are some deck examples:

Deck 1: Wiccan Synergy

Quicksilver, Fenris Wolf, Hawkeye, Kate Bishop, Peni Parker, Quake, Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Red Guardian, Gladiator, Shang-Chi, Wiccan, Gorr the God Butcher, Alioth. [Click here to copy this list from Untapped.]

This deck, while expensive (requiring Hawkeye, Kate Bishop, Wiccan, Gorr, and Alioth from Series 5), offers flexibility. Cards like Enchantress can be added as tech, and others can be swapped based on your preferred playstyle. The core strategy involves playing Quicksilver, followed by a 2-cost card (ideally Hawkeye or Peni Parker) to ensure a 3-cost card is available to trigger Wiccan's effect. Peni Parker enhances consistency, and with Wiccan active, you can play Gorr and Alioth before the game ends, providing multiple win conditions.

Deck 2: Scream Move Deck

Agony, Kingpin, Kraven, Peni Parker, Scream, Juggernaut, Polaris, Spider-Man (Miles Morales), Spider-Man (Cannonball), Alioth, Magneto. [Click here to copy this list from Untapped.]

This Scream-focused deck, while potentially powerful, requires mastering board manipulation. Scream, Cannonball, and Alioth (Series 5 cards) are essential, though Stegron could be a potential substitute. Agony's inclusion is debatable but synergizes with Peni Parker. The deck's win condition relies on manipulating opponent's cards using Kraven and Scream, while Peni Parker's merge enables playing both Alioth and Magneto in a single game.

Is Peni Parker Worth Collector’s Tokens or Spotlight Cache Keys?

Currently, Peni Parker isn't a top priority. While a generally good card, her impact isn't strong enough to justify immediate investment in the current Marvel Snap meta. Her 2-cost play followed by SP//dr's 3-cost play isn't impactful enough compared to other options. However, her value may increase as the game evolves.
