In the world of video games, dogs often stand out as the ultimate companions, and *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2* is no exception. Mutt, Henry’s loyal dog, disappears early in the storyline, but don't worry, here's a guide to help you reunite with him in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*.

Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 Mutt Location

Reuniting with Mutt involves a side quest, but I'll cut to the chase to save you time. You can find Mutt near a wolf cave, located southwest of the Nomads’ Camp and just east of the bathing spot by the river. I've included a screenshot below to pinpoint his exact location.

The most straightforward route to reach him is by fast traveling to the Nomads’ Camp, then heading southwest into the forest. This path will lead you directly to the top of the cave. As you draw near, listen for Mutt's whines, guiding you to the clearing near the cave entrance where Mutt and a few wolves await.

Approaching will trigger a cutscene where you'll meet Mutt amidst a pack of wolves, and you'll receive a tutorial on how to command Mutt in battle. You can opt to fight the wolves or choose to flee. Given that wolves and wild animals are relatively manageable in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*, engaging them in combat might be a beneficial way to enhance your skills.

Once you've handled the wolves, either by fighting or fleeing, Mutt will be at your command. You can interact with him by holding L1 and looking at him, which allows you to feed him from your inventory or send him back to your home.

Finding Mutt During the Invaders Side Quest

It's worth noting that you're likely to encounter the wolf cave during the Invaders side quest, particularly if you engage with the Cumans. After getting drunk with them, Henry will follow Vasko uphill in search of more liquor, leading you directly to the cave. This will trigger the cutscene with Mutt and the wolves, and you'll need to deal with them while intoxicated.

I strongly advise tackling the wolves during the day and rescuing Mutt before proceeding further with the Invaders quest. Managing wolves while drunk and in the dark is challenging, and attempting to flee could result in a fatal fall due to poor visibility.

And that's how you find Mutt in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*. For more tips and information on the game, be sure to check out The Escapist.
