The Open Beta Test Part 2 will run in two sessions: February 6th-9th and February 13th-16th, available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. This time around, players can tackle the Gypceros, a familiar foe from previous Monster Hunter titles.

Character data from the first beta carries over, and can be transferred to the full game. However, progress won't be saved. Participating hunters receive in-game rewards: a decorative Stuffed Felyne Teddy weapon charm, and a bonus item pack to aid early game progress.

Tsujimoto explained the second beta's purpose: to give those who missed the first a chance to play, and allow others another opportunity. He also confirmed the team's continued work on finalizing the full game. Note that while pre-launch improvements are underway, they won't be featured in this second beta test.
