Marvel's Thing & Human Torch Arrive in Rivals This February

Authore: LucasUpdate:Mar 12,2025

Get ready, Marvel Rivals fans! The Fantastic Four team is about to get even more fantastic. The Thing and Human Torch join the roster as playable characters on February 21, 2025, rounding out the iconic quartet. This exciting launch coincides with the Season 1.5 update, promising "major balance adjustments," according to a recent Dev Talk blog post on the official website.

While details on The Thing and Human Torch's abilities remain under wraps, anticipation is high. Their arrival follows the successful introduction of Mister Fantastic and the Invisible Woman, who significantly impacted the game's meta with their unique powers. Reed Richards' stretchy attacks and Sue Storm's invisibility mechanics redefined gameplay, and Ben Grimm and Johnny Storm are sure to bring equally exciting new dynamics to the battlefield.

The Season 1.5 update also brings a rank reset for Ranked players. On February 21st, expect a four-division drop. NetEase has clarified that future full seasons will see a six-division drop, while mid-season updates will result in a four-division drop. This system is subject to adjustment based on player feedback.

But it's not all about rank drops! Gold-ranked players can look forward to new costume rewards, and new Crests of Honor will recognize top performers at Grandmaster, Celestial, Eternity, and One Above All (top 500) levels.
