Your Sinners' levels in Limbus Company directly impact their combat effectiveness. Like most RPGs, leveling up your team is crucial for progress and tackling challenging content. Even the strongest Sinners will struggle against underleveled enemies. This guide explains how to efficiently gain XP for your characters.

## Combat and Grinding
Early game XP primarily comes from combat. All Sinners on your team gain XP after clearing battles, even if they didn't participate, although active participants receive more. However, XP gain slows as battles get harder, necessitating more efficient leveling methods.
Completing Canto 2 unlocks Luxcavation, offering challenging battles with various rewards. While these fights provide XP, the consumable items earned are even more valuable for leveling.
Using Consumable Items
To avoid tedious grinding, utilize Level Boost Tickets and Identity Training Tickets. These consumables directly boost character levels, and come in varying rarities.
Identity Training Tickets
Identity Training Tickets provide a fixed amount of Identity XP, similar to level-up materials in games like Honkai Star Rail or Genshin Impact. They significantly reduce grinding but are needed in large quantities to max a Sinner. Four tiers exist:
- Identity Training Ticket I: 50 Identity XP
- Identity Training Ticket II: 200 Identity XP
- Identity Training Ticket III: 1000 Identity XP
- Identity Training Ticket IV: 3000 Identity XP
These tickets are primarily farmed from EXP Luxcavation stages, Limbus Passes (both free and paid), and periodic attendance events.
Level Boost Tickets
Level Boost Tickets instantly raise a Sinner's Identity to a specific level, offering a significant advantage over Training Tickets. However, they are rarer, primarily obtained through the Limbus Pass and occasional attendance events; they cannot be farmed. Available tiers include:
- Level Boost Ticket I: Level 10
- Level Boost Ticket II: Level 20
- Level Boost Ticket III: Level 30
- Level Boost Ticket IV: Level 40
Currently, the maximum Identity level is 50. Strategically use Level Boost and Identity Training Tickets to efficiently level multiple Sinners.
Apply consumables by accessing the Sinners menu and long-pressing the desired character's portrait.
