When Can I Play Baldur's Gate 3 Crossplay?
While a firm release date for Patch 8 is still pending, a select group of players will get early access to crossplay functionality during the January 2025 stress test. This allows Larian to thoroughly test the feature across PC, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms before a wider rollout.
How to Participate in the Patch 8 Stress Test:
To register for the chance to participate in the stress test, complete Larian's Stress Test Registration form. You'll need a Larian account; create one or log in if you already have one. The registration process is simple and requires only basic player information, including your preferred gaming platform.
Important Note: Registration doesn't guarantee selection. Those chosen will receive an email with further instructions. Selected participants will provide feedback via forms and Discord.
The stress test will also evaluate the patch's effect on mods. Mod users are encouraged to register to help ensure compatibility.
