Playing cricket in a tight alley is often more thrilling than on a proper field—at least, that's the case in India. An independent Indian studio, 5th Ocean Studios, has just released their new cricket title, Gully Gangs: Street Cricket, in Open Beta for Android.
This Isn't Your Typical Cricket Sim
Gully Gangs: Street Cricket delivers a 4v4 multiplayer experience set right in the heart of Indian gullies—the local term for narrow lanes.
It’s the first 4v4 street cricket game ever. Expect rooftop catches, scooters blocking the way, and curious neighbors shouting at you for breaking windows. For even more excitement, you can jump into 1v1 matches too.
The game lets you unleash powerful shots and coordinate with your gang using live voice chat. Talk, banter, send emojis mid-game, or even pull off some cheeky tricks.
Each location captures the vibe of a real Indian neighborhood, alive with activity. Play with broken stumps, makeshift pitches, and unpredictable bounces off uneven walls.
There’s also plenty of customization: build your own gang, dress them in bold outfits, and collect exclusive skins.
Gully Gangs: Street Cricket Is Now in Open Beta
5th Ocean Studios has big plans for future updates—new street maps, clothing options, regular events, clan wars, and eventually, an esports mode. Leaderboards, daily and weekly challenges, and structured gang matchups are also on the way.
Currently available only on Android, versions for iOS and Steam are in the pipeline. Full controller support and cross-platform play are also under development. Ready to play? Download it now from the Google Play Store.
