Path of Exile 2's Hidden Golden Idols: A Guide to Finding and Selling Them
Path of Exile 2 features numerous quests, some less obvious than others. Act 3 introduces Golden Idols, unique quest items not logged in your quest journal. Unlike typical quest items, these aren't traded with NPCs to advance a questline; instead, they're valuable sellable items. There are five in total.
Locating the Golden Idols
After exploring the Vaal ruins beneath the Ziggurat Encampment in Act 3 and traveling through a time portal, you'll arrive in Utzaal (The Drowned City in the present). This ancient Vaal city holds three Golden Idols, with two more located in the connected area, Aggorat. They're found on the ground or pedestals, usually in side rooms, and not dropped by enemies.

Selling Your Treasures
Once collected, return to the Ziggurat Encampment and speak to Oswald, located in the northern part of the area. He'll buy your idols for a substantial amount of gold:
- Golden Idol: 500 Gold
- Grand Idol: 1000 Gold
- Glorious Idol: 1500 Gold
- Elegant Idol: 1000 Gold
- Exceptional Idol: 1500 Gold
Collecting all five yields a total of 6000 gold. Given their limited inventory space and sole purpose as valuable commodities, it's recommended to sell them immediately after discovery to maximize your gold and minimize clutter.
