GAMM Is the Biggest Game Museum in Italy Where You Can Share Pieces of Game History

Rome's newest attraction: GAMM, the Game Museum! A massive new gaming museum has opened its doors in Piazza della Repubblica, Rome. The brainchild of Marco Accordi Rickards, writer, journalist, professor, and CEO of Vigamus, GAMM promises a captivating journey through gaming history, technology, and interactive gameplay.

Building on the success of Vigamus, another Roman gaming museum that has drawn over two million visitors since 2012, GAMM boasts 700 square meters of exhibit space across two floors, divided into three distinct zones:

Explore GAMM's Thrilling Zones:

  • GAMMDOME: An interactive digital playground featuring historical gaming artifacts (consoles, donations, etc.) alongside cutting-edge technology. The experience is built around the 4E concept: Experience, Exhibition, Education, and Entertainment.

  • PARC (Path of Arcadia): Step back in time to the golden age of arcade games! Relive the classics from the late 70s, 80s, and early 90s.

  • HIP (Historical Playground): Delve into the mechanics of game design. This area offers a unique behind-the-scenes look at game structure, interaction, and design principles.
