In Freedom Wars Remastered, the Cell Garden is an essential area within your Panopticon that you'll encounter early in the main storyline. This area not only plays a pivotal role in the narrative but also serves as a safer alternative for farming resources compared to the hazardous operations outside.
Throughout the game, you'll discover multiple Cell Gardens, but the process of locating them remains consistent across different levels. Below, you'll find detailed instructions on how to access any Cell Garden and understand their mechanics for efficient resource farming.
Where To Find Cell Garden Entrances In Freedom Wars Remastered
Your journey to the Cell Garden begins when Mattias assigns you a mission to investigate a ghost girl rumor. To reach the Cell Garden, head to the main cell block on Level 2: 2-A000. From your cell, locate the left corner of the block where you'll find a small room resembling an elevator. Interact with this room to be transported to 2-E165, the same area where you previously encountered Enzo.
Upon arriving at 2-E165, proceed to the right along the wall until you reach another small room equipped with a device that will transport you to 2-G100. Repeat this process one more time from the far room of 2-G100, which leads directly to the Cell Garden.
This path to the Cell Garden is uniform across all levels. Unlocking the Quick-Travel Entitlement can significantly reduce the time spent traveling to these locations. Once you've completed the main quest associated with the Cell Garden, you'll have the freedom to revisit it or explore other Cell Gardens at your convenience. However, acquiring a specific Entitlement beforehand can enhance your experience.
Each device leading to the next room or the Cell Garden is clearly marked with a blue door icon.
How Does The Cell Garden Work In Freedom Wars Remastered
The Cell Garden operates differently during the main story mission compared to subsequent visits. Here’s how it functions outside of the main quest:
- You are given a one-minute window before being automatically ejected.
- The room's layout changes each time you enter, providing a unique challenge.
- Eight resource nodes, appearing as small green orbs, are scattered across the floor for collection.
To maximize your time in the Cell Garden, consider purchasing Entitlements from the Window on Liberty. These upgrades can extend your stay, which is particularly beneficial when dealing with layouts that include more complex puzzle elements. The first upgrade, available upon reaching CODE level 3, extends your time to two minutes.
