In Freedom Wars Remastered, players have the flexibility to tweak their loadouts for different operations. While larger elements like weapons and Thrones are less frequently changed, Combat Items are essential consumables that serve a multitude of purposes and are generally limited in supply.
You may receive additional Combat Items by successfully completing operations, but the quantity might not be sufficient for subsequent missions. At the start of the game, you're limited to equipping just one Combat Item at a time. Let's delve into how to address both the equipping and acquiring of these vital resources.
How To Equip More Combat Items In Freedom Wars Remastered
To equip more Combat Items, you'll need to secure the appropriate Entitlements. Navigate to your cell and interact with the Window On Liberty, then select "Claim Entitlements". Head over to the Equipment section and move to the right tab to find the One-Item Permit at the top. Each subsequent permit you unlock will allow you to equip up to a total of four Combat Items.
These story-based Entitlements become available quickly, and you can purchase all four by reaching CODE level 3. Note that the later permits will only become visible after purchasing the previous one. When you equip a Combat Item, such as a Frag Grenade, you'll have access to your entire stack at the start of the Operation.
Additionally, your Accessory can carry one Combat Item, which is used at the Accessory's discretion.
Where To Get More Combat Items In Freedom Wars Remastered
As you progress beyond the initial missions in the main storyline, you'll unlock The Warren, a central HUB area. Here, you'll find the Zakka store located along the right side on the upper level. Besides weapons, Zakka offers a "Buy Items" option that opens up lists for Munitions and Medical Supplies.
- Munitions - These are items that inflict direct damage on enemies during combat.
- Medical Supplies - These include items that heal, cure ailments, or replenish ammunition.
Each Combat Item is sold individually, and purchasing in bulk can be costly in terms of Entitlement Points. Stocking up on Medkits might necessitate donating old resources. While Operations can occasionally reward you with Combat Items, relying on this method for farming them isn't advisable due to the time investment and the potential to use more items than you gain.
