NetEase Games' Marvel Rivals kicks off Season 1: Eternal Night Falls with a generous gift: free Peni Parker and Scarlet Witch skins! This surprise addition to the battle pass is a welcome treat for players. Dracula's attack on New York City, following a Doctor Strange mishap, sets the stage for the Fantastic Four to take center stage. Join the fight from January 10th to April 11th, 2025.

Season 1 introduces the complete Fantastic Four to the game's roster. Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman are available at launch, with Human Torch and The Thing arriving in a mid-season update. Leaks suggest Human Torch will be a Duelist and The Thing a Vanguard, though this remains unconfirmed.

Players can obtain the free Peni Parker (Blue Tarantula skin) and Scarlet Witch (Emporium Matron skin) cosmetics without purchasing the premium battle pass. While the full battle pass costs 990 Lattice (approximately $10), numerous free cosmetic rewards are earnable through quests and Chrono Tokens. Peni Parker's skin, found on page three, features a striking sky blue and white design. Scarlet Witch's skin, on page nine, boasts a crimson and purple ensemble with a unique cosmic animation. Note that while a free Scarlet Witch emote is included, her MVP animation requires the premium pass. A separate Midnight Features event offers a free Thor skin through quest completion.

Beyond the freebies, the in-game shop showcases new villainous skins for Invisible Woman (Malice – black and red with spiked detailing) and Mister Fantastic (The Maker – dark gray and blue with a masked appearance). The abundance of new content has generated significant excitement among Marvel Rivals players.
