February 2025: Top Revenue-Generating Gacha Games

The competition in the world of gacha games is intensifying, with recent financial data from February 2025 showing a decline in revenue for several top titles. Fans and enthusiasts are closely monitoring the financial performance across the genre, and new statistics have shed light on the situation.

miHoYo, also known as HoYoverse, has three major projects that all saw a dip in their earnings during this period. Honkai Star Rail, which secured the fourth position, experienced a revenue drop from $50.8 million to $46.5 million. Genshin Impact, ranking sixth, witnessed a significant decrease from over $99 million to $26.3 million, following a previous spike attributed to the Mavuika banner event. Zenless Zone Zero, coming in eighth, saw its revenue decline from $26.3 million to $17.9 million. However, fans can look forward to an uptick in earnings as new character updates are slated for release in Genshin Impact, Zenless Zone Zero, and Honkai Star Rail.

In February 2025, the leading gacha game was Pokemon TCG Pocket, which generated an impressive $79 million in revenue. Following closely in second place is Love and Deepspace with $49.5 million, while Dragon Ball Z Dokkan Battle rounded out the top three with $47 million.
